Description:
A medium-sized bird measuring up to 13 inches in length. Light brown in color with a long tail bordered with white, and black spots on wings.
Range:
Resident in North America and the West Indies.
Habitat(s):
Woodlands, forest edges, agricultural areas, cities and suburbs.
Reproduction:
2 white eggs are laid in a nest of twigs placed in low vegetation.
Food:
This species feeds on seeds.
Comments:
Can be found in South Florida year round.
