Florida Keys History and Distribution: Not reported for the Florida Keys by John Kunkel Small in 1913. First observed in the Florida Keys by Steven W. Woodmansee in 2005 at the Key West Botanical Garden on Stock Island (Woodmansee, 2006). A voucher specimen is needed for the Monroe County Keys.
