Comments: Although vouchered for Miami-Dade County, perhaps persisting from cultivation and not naturalized in South Florida.

Florida Keys History and Distribution: Reported in 1913 by John Kunkel Small for hammocks on Elliott Key, where presumably persisting from cultivation.  Occasionally cultivated in the Florida Keys.
