Join the Institute for Regional Conservation for an exciting day installing native plants along the dunes at Red Reef Park. We will also be hosting an informational BioBlitz where participants will learn about native plants. IRC is looking forward to another wonderful volunteer day where we will focus on enhancing the biodiversity of the beach dune system and also remove pesky nonnatives from the park and discuss the importance of coastal conservation
Please join us for 2 hours on a Saturday morning and feel good that you'll be helping us restore our local coastal strand habitat! Bring yourself, a friend, and some enthusiasm! We have all the equipment you'll need and there is no experience necessary.
Sign up to come along or email our coordinator with additional questions. A confirmation email containing all the event details will be sent to all registered participants on the day prior to the event.
PLEASE BRING WATER BOTTLE, SNACKS, SUNSCREEN, HAT, SUNGLASSES. WEAR CLOSE-TOED SHOES.
