Ecological Restoration Volunteer Event - Red Reef Park

Red Reef Park - 1400 North Ocean Blvd, Boca Raton

Join the Institute for Regional Conservation for an exciting day installing native plants along the dunes at Red Reef Park. We will also be hosting an informational BioBlitz where participants will learn about native plants. IRC is looking forward to another wonderful volunteer day where we will focus on enhancing the biodiversity of the beach dune system and also remove pesky nonnatives from the park and discuss the importance of coastal conservation

Please join us for 2 hours on a Saturday morning and feel good that you'll be helping us restore our local coastal strand habitat! Bring yourself, a friend, and some enthusiasm! We have all the equipment you'll need and there is no experience necessary.

Orchard View Park - 4060 Old German Town Road, Delray Beach

Join the Institute for Regional Conservation for an exciting day removing nonnative plants from Orchard View Park. IRC is looking forward to another wonderful volunteer day where we intend to plant species in cleared areas to benefit the diversity of the park and to haul away nonnative plant species that have been overtaking areas of the maritime hammock.

So, join us for 3 hours on a Saturday morning and feel good that you'll be helping us restore our local maritime hammock. Bring yourself, a friend, and some enthusiasm! We have all the equipment you'll need and there is no experience necessary.
