ECOLOGICAL RESTORATION VOLUNTEER DAY - Red Reef Park
Date & Time:
Saturday, March 9 from 9am - 11am
Red Reef Park - 1400 N Ocean Blvd, Boca Raton
Join the Institute for Regional Conservation in this exciting project with the City of Boca Raton! On Saturday Maarch 9th from 9 am to 11 am. IRC and our volunteers will be working together to plant a variety of native plants to the beach dune along Red Reef Park. Please meet us at Pavilion 8, make a right when you turn in and park at the end of the road. We will have a sign in table at the pavilion. Groups of volunteers will be instructed how to install our plants into the ground and learn about coastal ecosystems.
There is no experience required! So grab a friend and come out to help us plant a diverse array of native species so we can repair the essential biodiversity of Red Reef Park's beach dune ecosystem. Whether this is your first volunteer event with us or you're a repeat volunteer, we are so excited to have you join the IRC family and see how much fun habitat restoration can be!
Please be sure to RSVP if you want to sign up to participate in this event.
We will send a reminder email before the event so please be sure you sign-up to receive the details.
