Presencia/Occurence: Registro por error/Recorded in error.

Historia y distribución/History and distribution: A false record. On limestone rocks, Vieques and also cited for Puerto Rico (Liogier & Martorell 1982, 2000). A collection from the Laguna Tortuguero by Britton et al. in 1915 (3854 MO in TROPICOS, 3854 NY in Axelrod 2011), has been determined to be E. ciliaris (Axelrod 2011). Eragrostis urbaniana is excluded from the Puerto Rican flora by Axelrod and Acevedo-Rodríguez & Strong (2012, 2015).
