History in the Bahamas: Not listed in Britton & Millspaugh (1920). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 7-9, with illustrations) as a terrestrial in dense, rocky coppices in the northwestern Commonwealth (region 10). Collected on Great Abaco (Popenoe 14, FTG) and Grand Bahama (Correll 50380, FTG).
