History in the Bahamas: Not listed in Britton & Millspaugh (1920). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 43) for pinelands and rocky, open areas in the northwestern Commonwealth (regions 10-8). Collected as early as 1968 on Abaco by W.T. Gillis (7323 FTG).
