History in the Bahamas: Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for coastal sands and disturbed areas in the northwestern Commonwealth (Abaco, Grand Bahama). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 481) for coastal sands, disturbed areas and thickets in the northwestern Commonwealth (region 10).
