History in the Bahamas: Not listed in Britton & Millspaugh (1920). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 26-27, with illustrations) for the walls of sinkholes in coppices in the northwestern Commonwealth (region 8). Collected on New Providence (Baker s.n., FTG; Correll 51427, FTG).
