History in the Bahamas: Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for disturbed areas and cultivated lands in the northwestern and central Commonwealth (Andros, Harbor Island, Eleuthera, Long Island and Dellis’ Cay). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 1067-1068, with illustrations) for disturbed areas nearly throughout the Commonwealth (regions 10-8, 6, 4-2).
