History in the Bahamas: Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for pinelands and whitelands in the northwestern and central Commonwealth (Grand Bahama, Abaco, Elbow Cay, Great Stirrup Cay [Berry Islands], New Providence, San Salvador).

Comments: In pinelands, including around freshwater ponds; northern and central Commonwealth (Correll & Correll, 1982).
