History in the Bahamas: Reported in 1920 by Britton & Millspaugh for sinkholes in the northwestern Commonwealth (New Providence, Eleuthera). Reported by Correll & Correll (1982: 19-21) for sinkholes in coppices in the northwestern and central Commonwealth (regions 8-6).
