South Florida History and Distribution: A rare herb in marl prairies and wet flatwoods, especially in the Big Cypress Swamp and northern Palm Beach County; scattered in the rest of peninsular Florida. This was described in 2003 by Edwin Bridges and Steve Orzell.

SOUTH FLORIDA Cultivated Status: Not Cultivated
