South Florida History and Distribution: Ranked as possibly extirpated in Rare Plants of South Florida (Gann et al. 2002; pp 180-182) based on several collections and observations between 1903 and 1944 from Brickell Hammock in downtown Miami and the Flamingo area of Everglades National Park. No new records are known.

SOUTH FLORIDA Cultivated Status: Cultivated
