South Florida History and Distribution: A very rare herb recorded as possibly extirpated in Rare Plants of South Florida (Gann et al. 2002:124-125), based on a single collection in 1986 from scrubby flatwoods near Immokalee in Collier County (Huck 3294 FSU). Most recently documented in scrubby flatwoods at Hickey Creek Mitigation Park by Felicia Nudo in May, 2019 (see iNaturalist record).

SOUTH FLORIDA Cultivated Status: Not Cultivated
