Origen/Origin: Nativo/Native.

Historia y distribución/History and distribution: A few scattered occurrences, chiefly in the central and eastern mountains at lower to middle elevations (200-900 m). A pendent epiphyte from the mossy branches of trees; rarely a lithophyte in humus on rocky ledges. References: Proctor 1989, Liogier & Martorell 2000, Axelrod 2011.
