Florida Keys History and Distribution: Not reported for the Florida Keys by John Kunkel Small in 1913. Reported for Big Pine Key by Dickson et al. (1953) and Franklin (1968), and collected on Key Largo by Robert W. Long and colleagues in 1966 (1758 USF). Reported by Long & Lakela (1971) for disturbed sites in southern Florida and the Florida Keys. Formerly cultivated and perhaps sparingly naturalized. No recent records are known.
