South Florida History and Distribution: Ranked as presumed extirpated in Rare Plants of South Florida (Gann et al. 2002; pp 89-90) based on a single 1916 collection from a hammock south of Coot Bay in what in now Everglades National Park. No new records are known.

SOUTH FLORIDA Cultivated Status: Cultivated
