South Florida History and Distribution: Although not listed in Rare Plants of South Florida (Gann, Bradley and Woodmansee, 2002), this taxon was apparently known only from old specimens from Miami-Dade and Lee counties (see 
Atlas of Florida Plants), and was ranked as presumed extirpated by the IRC in 2016.
