South Florida History and Distribution: Ranked as critically imperiled in Rare Plants of South Florida (Gann et al. 2002; pp 464-466) based on three occurrences in three protected areas. It was reassessed in 2025 using updated NatureServe criteria and the rank of critically imperiled was retained.

SOUTH FLORIDA Cultivated Status: Cultivated
