South Florida History and Distribution: Ranked as presumed extirpated in Rare Plants of South Florida (Gann et al. 2002, pp 70-71), based numerous collections in the Florida Keys from 1898 to 1978, and observed until 1979 on Key Largo, and several collections near downtown Miami from 1903 to 1921.
