Rasheed Bradley
Team Leader, Pine Rockland Initiative (Miami-Dade County)

Rasheed Bradley is the Team Leader for IRC's Pine Rockland Initiative.  He leads a skilled invasive exotic plant removal team that works on improving the habitat of Miami-Dade’s remaining globally-imperiled pine rocklands. The team's mission is to remove infestations of invasive plants like Burmareed and Brazilian Pepper, so that native diversity can be restored and endangered populations of Garber’s spurge, tiny polygala and crenulate lead-plant can be saved from extinction. Rasheed began work at IRC in the fall of 2009 as a crew member of the Pine Rockland Initiative team and was promoted to Team Leader in 2010 due to his dedicated and exemplary work ethic.  Rasheed first became involved in conservation while working for Greater Miami Service improving the quality of local parks.
